PTFE Coatings

PTFE coatings, or Polytetrafluoroethylene are superior non-stick fluoropolymer coatings with a very durable thin film coating. These products have the highest operating temperature of any fluoropolymer and have an extremely low coefficient of friction, good abrasion resistance and chemical resistance.

SERVICE INFORMATION

This coating is normally used where a smooth, low friction, corrosion resistant coating is necessary. One of the most popular uses of PTFE coatings is for non-stick applications or any application needing a food grade coating.

PTFE coating is one of the world’s most sought after non-stick products. PTFE non-stick fluoropolymer coating has outstanding release properties and can withstand a maximum use temperature of 500°F, higher than any other fluoropolymer. This coating is typically applied to a thickness of approximately 1 mil.
